What is Predator CNC Editor?

Predator CNC Editor is software that allows users to edit G-codes, also known as G programming language, in their computer numerical control (CNC) environment. The software allows for editing of multiple CNC programs, with the number limited only by the capacity of the user’s virtual system memory. The user will be alerted by the program when the virtual memory gets too low.
The program can be accessed from its default directory or from the command prompt. The command lines need to be specific, as a lower case and upper case command line will launch two different tasks. For instance, typing “peditor-b” will launch a CNC program and open it in Backplot mode, while typing “peditor-B” will launch a CNC program and start the Backplot; while “peditor-P” will launch a CNC program, Backplot, and print graphics, and “peditor-p” will print to text.
The Backplot window has its own toolbar, separate from that which is found on the main editing window. Backplot tools on the toolbar include Zoom Fit, Zoom In, Zoom Out, Top View, Front View, Back View, Right View, Left View, Lathe View, Isometric View, Axonometric View, and Print Backplot. Control buttons are also provided on the toolbar for the following tasks: single step each line, and perform, pause or stop backplot.
